Debunking the Myth of a Filtered Profile

In the sad state of reality show ‘realness’, where a certain family known for vapid attention harlotry barrage us with their waist shapers, lip plumpers, along with the gross display of their amassed fortune, let me bring some levity and serve you a dish of real life realness with a blooper reel. My blooper real. See what I just did there?

In the interest of keeping it short for the people with attention spans likened to that of a goldfish and retaining a PG17 rating – we kept it under a minute, and therefore, couldn’t include all the expletives I spewed as I messed up my lines. (You’re welcome) What was supposed to be a quick 15-minute one or two takes for the interview portion became an arduous exercise of patience for my amazing videographer Carmela Sagula and help from my “stage mom, photography mentor and life coach” all in one, the inimitable Tara McMullen.

What we did include though is my goofy, irreverent and imperfectly fabulous persona for you all to see. I am a type-A personality with a penchant for perfectionism but alas, I am but a human who is flawed, a work in progress, who can also see (with averted gaze) the beauty and hilarity of my imperfections.
Here’s to that buzzword “authenticity” and cheers to mumbled words, forgotten lines, sing-song speak with funny voices, double chins, lewd behaviour, weird facial expressions and to people who think you are doing a great job despite it anyway.  They are an integral part of the cog we call LIFE. #mytribe
